Things to take on your Mauritius holiday/ Pack light, pack right!

So you are all booked on your dream tropical vacation and wondering what you should take with you. Here is a list of things that you will need for your Mauritius holidays.

1. Clothing – Mauritius is a hot, tropical country. It is best to carry light, cotton clothing. Tops and t-shirts should be long sleeved to protect your arms from sunburn. Include semi-casual wear. Do not carry too much clothing. If you need anything, you can always buy from the numerous boutiques in Mauritius.
2. Sunscreen – Temperatures in Mauritius in the summer can go as high as 32 degrees. A good quality sunscreen will go a long way in protecting your skin from sun burn.
3. Sunglasses – For needed eye protection from UV rays.
4. A sun hat – You never have too much protection from the sun.
5. Mosquito repellent – Mauritius is a tropical island and mosquitoes come with the territory. A good bug spray or cream will be a life saver.
6. Camera- There are a lot of photo opportunities on a Mauritius holiday. You will need to immortalize the breathtaking scenery and a good digital camera will come in very handy.
